We can’t wait to see you at your next appointment. But before you arrive, please be aware that things will work a little differently at your next visit to Love + Roots. Please review the following information to ensure you have the best possible experience at our salon as we adapt to the many new challenges that COVID-19 has brought our way.

Efficiency is key: the less time spent in an enclosed building, the safer you will be. Our goal is to get you in-and-out as quickly as possible while treating you with Love + Care and lifting your Hair + Skin Spirits!

Before your appointment

All guests are now required to sign consent forms before receiving service at our salon. You’ll receive your form via text or email before your appointment. You must complete your form before entering the building.

When you arrive

We’re limiting occupancy in our salon, so our front door will remain locked to help us ensure we always have a small and safe number of people indoors at any time.

  • Please arrive a few minutes early, and text us at 512-751-5812 when you arrive. Relax in your car until a staff member texts you back that it is time for you to enter the salon.
  • If you walked to your appointment, please use the marked spaces on our porch and sidewalk to maintain social distancing.
  • Please wear a mask at all times while waiting!

Before entering the salon

You and all our guests must complete three essential steps before we can safely allow you into our salon:

  • You must complete and sign your consent form.
  • You must be wearing a mask that you will be required to wear throughout your visit.
  • You must have your temperature taken taken with an infrared digital thermometer. Anyone with a temperature of 100 or greater will not be treated.

While you’re in our salon

All clients are now welcome to bring laptops to work on, books to read, or shop around in our boutique while receiving their service. Hand sanitizing stations are available at each hair station, spa room, and throughout the salon to keep you healthy + safe.

You are no longer required to ask a staff member for assistance when you want to purchase an item in our salon boutique (yay!). Simply grab the item you’re interested in taking home, and bring it to the front desk to purchase.

If you prefer, you can purchase products in advance in our online store and pick them up at the time of your appointment. Browse through all items in the comfort and safety of your own home, buy online, and they will be bagged and ready for you. We can also ship them straight to your door, for the upmost convenience in shopping experience.

We are no longer doing contactless checkout. We want to safely bring back that final interaction so you can feel confident about your service, what you’ve spent for the day, and easily book your next appointment. To maintain safety standards, we ask that you remain behind our plexiglass screen. Please sanitize your hands prior to checkout, and we will sanitize the card reader after every client, every time. Our temporary $5 PROTECTION FEE will be added to each service ticket to cover the extra cost of the increased protective gear required for the Service Providers to perform your services. Once these mandatory restrictions and protocols are loosened, the fee will be removed.

That means until you’re back in your car, or at least off salon property.
