We can’t wait to see you at your next appointment. But before you arrive, please be aware that things will work a little differently at your next visit to Love + Roots. Please review the following information to ensure you have the best possible experience at our salon as we adapt to the many new challenges that COVID-19 has brought our way.

Efficiency is key: the less time spent in an enclosed building, the safer you will be. Our goal is to get you in-and-out as quickly as possible while treating you with Love + Care and lifting your Hair + Skin + Spirits!

Before your appointment

All guests are now required to sign consent forms before receiving service at our salon. You’ll receive your form via text or email before your appointment. You must complete your form before entering the building.

When you arrive

We’re limiting occupancy in our salon, so our front door will remain locked to help us ensure we always have a small and safe number of people indoors at any time.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes early, and wait in your car until a staff member calls or texts you to enter the salon.
  • If you walked to your appointment, please use the marked spaces on our porch and sidewalk to maintain social distancing.
  • Please wear a mask at all times while waiting!

Before entering the salon

You and all our guests must complete three essential steps before we can safely allow you into our salon:

  • You must complete and sign your consent form.
  • You must be wearing a mask that you will be required to wear throughout your visit.
  • You must have your temperature taken taken with an infrared digital thermometer. Anyone with a temperature of 100 or greater will not be treated.

While you’re in our salon

DURING YOUR SERVICE 
All clients must remain in their designated treatment area unless they need to use the restroom. If you need to use thee restroom, please wash hands for 20 seconds before returning to your designated treatment area. Hand sanitizing stations are also available at each hair station, spa room, and throughout the salon.

WHEN FINISHED WITH YOUR SERVICE 
Before leaving your designated treatment area, your Service Provider will ask if you would like any products to take home.  Please be advised that ONLY staff members may collect retail products.

If you prefer, you can purchase products in advance in our online store and pick them up at the time of your appointment. Browse through all items in the comfort and safety of your own home, buy online, and they will be bagged and ready for you. We can also ship them straight to your door, for the upmost convenience in shopping experience.

SAFE CHECK-OUT 
No need to checkout at the front desk!  Our Service Providers will keep track of the client service(s) received, plus retail purchases. Our Salon Coordinator, Megan, will charge the card on file for the full amount, minus the prepaid deposit, plus 20% gratuity on the total service (unless specified otherwise). A temporary $6 PROTECTION FEE will be added to each service ticket to cover the extra cost of the increased protective gear required for the Service Providers to perform your services. Once these mandatory restrictions and protocols are loosened, the fee will be removed.

PLEASE WEAR YOUR MASK AT ALL TIMES
That means until you’re back in your car, or at least off salon property.
