LOVE + ROOTS
Salon Policies

Love + Roots prides itself on its excellence in customer care and service. Because of this we uphold a few policies to ensure the ultimate salon experience for our clients and responsibility and care for our stylists.

TEMPORARY COVID-19 POLICY

During this unprecedented time we ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate the changing guidelines and recommendations put forth by the CDC and our local government in managing the spread of COVID-19. As a general rule, Love + Roots follows CDC protocols for vaccinated and unvaccinated guests. Masks are currently required, regardless of vaccination status. For up-to-date information on mask requirements, you may visit our Instagram page @loveandrootssalon or call/text 512-751-5812.

SERVICE ADJUSTMENT POLICY

In the case we have not met your expectations with your service, we would like to invite you to contact us within 48 hours of your initial appointment so we may schedule a complimentary adjustment within a 2-week timeframe from your initial appointment.

TARDINESS + RESCHEDULING POLICY

We understand that “life happens” and can derail even the best-laid plans. For this reason, Love + Roots offers a grace period of up to 15 minutes. Anything later than 15 minutes requires rescheduling of the appointment and a late-cancellation fee. Clients who show up within the grace period will have to accept an abbreviated service to keep the day running smoothly and ensure everyone is respectful of other clients’ and our staff’s time.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Love + Roots requires 24 hours notice for any cancellation of an appointment. A one-week cancellation notice is required for all Permanent Makeup Services. Please make sure to call, text, or email during business hours the day before your appointment in order to avoid any additional fees. By reserving an appointment, you authorize Love + Roots to charge your credit card a 50% cancellation fee, if the appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment. A No-Show fee of 100% of the reservation value of the appointment will be charged to the card on file should you miss your visit without any advance notification.

CREDIT CARD POLICY

Love + Roots requires a credit card to be on file for all new clients in support of our cancelation policy. The credit card will not be charged unless you fail to give 24 hours notice or fail to show up at the time of appointment. You will be notified at the time of the missed appointment of any charges you will be receiving.

UNATTENDED CHILDREN POLICY

In order to ensure a relaxing environment, we request that no unattended children under the age of 12 be allowed in the salon.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

Children between the ages of 7-11 are minors and must be accompanied by an adult, and children 12-17 are considered minors and payment for the service must be completed by a responsible adult.

RETURN POLICY

Love + Roots stands behind all of our product, including Bleu, R+Co, L’Oreal, Olaplex, Mizani, BiodrogaMD, DermaQuest, Dr. Schrammek, and BioVegane. Should you feel dissatisfaction with any of these products, we will gladly apply the full value of the returned products purchased at Love + Roots to another product of your choice, if returned within 14 days from date of purchase.

All sales of jewelry, hair accessories, sale items, and decor are Final Sale. No returns or exchanges.

GRATUITY POLICY

Gratuity is appreciated but not required for any of our stylists or skincare therapists. We accept gratuity in cash or credit card. Love + Roots upholds the highest standards in operating its business and subsequent transactions in accordance with state law, and claiming tips as income to be taxed accordingly. Please no personal checks made out to the business or its employees, no use of VENMO or PayPal for sending stylists tips.

ALCOHOL POLICY

Love + Roots provides an array of refreshments including wine, sodas, and snacks. We ask that no outside alcohol be brought into the salon and none taken outside the salon at any time.

PET POLICY

As much as we love our furry companions, the salon is not a good environment for pets. The Texas State Board of Cosmetology and the Board of Consumer Affairs have specific Rules and Regulations stating that no animals are allowed in a salon at any time, unless the animal is a Certified Service Dog. No emotional support animals are allowed.
